With each lesson, her confidence grew and her natural talent blossomed. Despite occasional fatigue, she remained enthusiastic and determined, mastering each movement with heartfelt expression. |

| Nia, a cheerful 12-year-old girl who has loved dancing since she was little, holds a beautiful dream close to her heart: she wants to become a Jaipong dancer. Amid her brave battle with leukemia, dancing has always been her source of happiness—a way to express joy, strength, and confidence beyond the hospital walls. Inspired by her father, who is a dancer, Nia grew up surrounded by rhythm and movement. Whenever Sundanese music plays, her eyes light up. For her, becoming a Jaipong dancer is not just about performing—it is about honoring her father, embracing her culture, and celebrating life through every step and every rhythm. |

| On her Wish Day, Nia’s dream came true in the most extraordinary way through the Corporate EmployeeEngagement Program of Bank DBS Indonesia in collaboration with Make-A-Wish® Indonesia. She was giventhe honor of performing a Jaipong dance at the Year End Event of Bank DBS Indonesia, in front ofapproximately 3,000 participants. It was her very first time performing before an audience of that size—something far beyond what she had ever imagined. Before stepping onto the grand stage, Nia was dressed in abeautiful traditional Jaipong costume, complete with intricate accessories that made her shine even brighter.As the music began and the spotlight followed her, Nia stood tall—brave, poised, and unafraid. Despite it beingher first time performing before thousands of people, she danced with remarkable confidence and grace. Everymovement reflected not only her love for dance, but also her courage and resilience. |
