Hafizh, a 17-year-old boy, has loved Persija since the very beginning. As a devoted fan, he eagerly waits for every match, finding joy in each moment his favorite team takes the field. When we first met him and asked about his greatest wish, he answered without hesitation, “I wish to meet Persija.” For Hafizh, Persija is more than just a football club—it is a source of strength and hope as he bravely faces chronic kidney disease since the age of 8.

On his special day, that dream finally came to life. The Wish Granting team brought Hafizhto Persija’s training ground in Sawangan, Depok, where he stepped into a world he had longadmired. Watching his favorite team train right before his eyes, Hafizh could hardly containhis excitement as he interacted with the players.
Smiles filled the moment as they took photos together—memories Hafizh will alwayscherish. It truly felt like his lucky day, as he received autographs from his favorite players,along with two pairs of shoes from Shayne Pattynama and Maxwell, and goalkeeper glovesfrom Carlos Eduardo.
The Impact
Since he was little, Hafizh has always been a huge Persija fan. Whenever Persija played, he would be the first one in front of the television, fully focused on the match and not wanting to be disturbed. He would even pray for his favorite team to win every game.Thank you Make-A-Wish®️ Indonesia for making Hafizh’s wish come true. At last, he had the opportunity to watch Persija train in person at the Sawangan Training Ground and meet his favorite football team.
